The Firm


Henry H. Isaacson was born in Greensboro, North Carolina. He was educated in Greensboro public schools and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Having earned his undergraduate degree in 1955 and law degree with honors in 1958, Henry immediately thereafter served in the United States Air Force in the Department of Judge Advocate General for approximately three years, obtaining the rank of Captain in the Air Force Reserve.


Returning to Greensboro in 1961, Henry began practicing with a local law firm. Beginning his own firm in 1980, he was joined by his son, Marc Isaacson, in 1983 and the firm of Isaacson & Isaacson was established. Isaacson & Isaacson specialized in real estate, land development, corporate and estate matters. Desmond Sheridan and Jennifer Fountain joined with Messrs. Isaacson in 1999. Jennifer established the firm's commercial litigation practice and Desmond expanded the firm's corporate, tax and commercial real estate capabilities. Tessa Leftwich joined the firm in 2006 and became a partner in 2010. Debbi Aberman works with the firm in real estate matters. Currently, the firm concentrates its practice on real estate, land development (including rezonings, and appearances before governmental bodies), business matters, tax, and litigation. Each member of the firm shares the belief that community service is a significant part of the firm's overall professional practice. The firm maintains a reputation of offering professional services of the highest quality and takes great pride in its representation of many of the outstanding businesses and individuals in the area.
