FIRM HISTORY

Henry Isaacson originally established our firm in 1980.  His son, Marc Isaacson, joined him in 1983 and the firm of Isaacson & Isaacson was born.  Isaacson & Isaacson focused on real estate, land development, corporate and estate matters.  Jennifer Fountain joined with Messrs. Isaacson in 1999 and became a partner in 2002.  Desmond Sheridan merged his practice with Isaacson & Isaacson in 2000, forming the firm Isaacson Isaacson & Sheridan, LLP.  Jennifer established our commercial litigation practice and Desmond expanded the firm's corporate, tax and commercial real estate capabilities.  We continued to grow throughout the 2000s, adding Tessa Leftwich, Amanda Hodierne, Stephen Pritchard and Ben Rafte as partners and updating the firm name to simply Isaacson Sheridan.

Currently, we concentrate our practice on real estate, land development (including rezonings and appearances before governmental bodies), business matters, tax and civil litigation. Isaacson Sheridan is particularly active in multifamily and commercial development and financing and handles a wide variety of litigation matters in courts of all levels and before administrative agencies.  While we are all proud to call Greensboro home, both personally and professionally, we handle matters across the state, southeast region and beyond.  We believe in a client-driven practice, providing services across the spectrum of business needs.

Isaacson Sheridan maintains a reputation of offering professional services of the highest quality and takes great pride in its representation of many of the outstanding businesses and individual in the area.
